One UI.
Every screen.
Play on a big monitor and a laptop with the same EllesmereUI setup. Each screen keeps its own UI scale, and frames are fitted to each screen instead of falling off the edge.
Set it up once
Play on either machine. When you sit down at the other one, your UI is already there, sized for that screen.
Each screen keeps its own scale
EllesmereUI's UI scale is one setting shared by every profile. The app keeps a separate scale for each PC, so syncing never changes it.
Smart frame fitting
Frames in the middle of the screen stay exactly where they were, so your action bars and unit frames stay together. Frames near the edges move with the edges.
Syncs automatically
Runs in the system tray. It uploads your changes after you exit WoW and applies new ones from your other PC. If both PCs changed, it asks which to keep.
Never touches a running game
WoW rewrites addon settings when it exits, so the app waits until the game is closed. It never applies changes while you're playing.
Backups with one-click undo
Every apply backs up your current files first. The last 20 backups are kept, and Undo restores the most recent one.
Uses your own cloud folder
OneDrive is picked automatically. Dropbox, Google Drive or a network share work too. No accounts and no servers; your files stay in your folders.
Up and running in two minutes
Do this once on each PC you play on.
Download & run
It's one .exe with nothing to install. It finds your WoW folder, the game version, your account and OneDrive by itself.
Check the resolution
With the window on the monitor you play on, click Detect to record that screen's resolution.
Upload from your main PC
On the PC whose layout you want to keep, click Upload this device's UI.
Apply on the other one
Click Apply cloud UI here. If you like, change EllesmereUI's UI scale on that PC; the app keeps it from then on.
Good questions
Windows says "Windows protected your PC". Is it safe?
The exe isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen doesn't recognize it. Click More info → Run anyway. Every release is built from the public source by GitHub Actions, and the SHA-256 checksum is shown above the download button so you can check your copy.
Does it touch the game itself?
No. It only copies EllesmereUI's saved settings files (WTF\Account\…\SavedVariables\Ellesmere*.lua) while WoW is closed. It never reads or changes the game's memory and doesn't hook into the client.
Which game versions does it work with?
Any of them: Retail, Classic, Classic Era, betas and PTRs. Choose a game version in the app and it syncs the EllesmereUI settings for that version.
What if I changed my UI on both PCs?
The app notices and doesn't overwrite either one on its own. It asks you which to keep: Upload keeps this PC's UI, Apply keeps the other PC's. Whichever you choose, the current files are backed up first.
Where does it keep things?
The app's own settings, backups and a log are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\WowUiSync on each PC. The only shared data is the snapshot in the sync folder you picked.
Use the same UI on every PC
Free, open source, and just one file.
